Quantitatively measure chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) such as Freon, on-the-spot

Measuring chlorofluorocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, nitroparaffins, anesthetic gases, and other hard-to-detect compounds is easy and economical by combining detector tube technology with a portable pyrolyzer by Gastec. The sample is first pyrolyzed (decomposed by heat) then the by-product is measured using a pre-calibrated, direct-reading detector tube. The Gastec pyrotec pyrolyzer is small (3 ¼ inches long with a 1 ½ inch diameter) and lightweight (only 7 ounces), and easily screws onto the Gastec Gas Sampling Pump, by hand, in a matter of seconds.
