Nextteq® HazMat Response Test Kits

When First Responders arrive at an emergency, their ability to quickly and accurately assess the situation is paramount. Nextteq® supports their efforts through a variety of advanced testing products including the Nextteq HazMat Response Test Kit.

The Nextteq® Deluxe HazMat Kit II quickly identifies hazardous substances from unknown airborne compounds. Using two specialty qualitative detector tubes and the Nextteq® custom color-based flow chart, one can rapidly identify up to 70 hazardous organic and inorganic chemicals using just 2 detector tubes.  From there, for follow-up testing, the kit contains several of our high quality, highly-reliable Nextteq® detector tubes that can be used to further qualify and quantify the initial test results of organic or inorganic gases or vapors.

The Nextteq® Deluxe HazMat Kit III contains 8 additional boxes of Nextteq® detector tubes allowing further identification or classification of unknown substances.

Each Kit is housed in a rugged Pelican case and features the Nextteq® NX-1000 Gas Sampling Pump and select Nextteq® Detector Tubes that are pre-calibrated and always ready to use. The NX-1000 pump has an anti-bacterial grip and a thermal ring that is useful when a temperature reading is required. Nextteq pumps require fewer pump strokes and provide faster results than leading competitors. The direct-read tubes expedite accurate sampling without confusion, dual scales, or concentration charts.

The kits are intrinsically safe with no batteries or electrical power required. On-the-spot results save time and money with no waiting for expensive laboratory analysis. The Nextteq® custom-designed decision flow charts (Inorganic Testing and Organic Testing) provide clear, step-by-step instructions for easy and precise chemical analysis. A VeriAir Flex® 1L Foil Bag is conveniently included for cases when you want to collect an area sample to bring back to a lab for further analysis.

Nextteq® HazMat Response Kits Key Features:

• Each Nextteq® Deluxe Hazmat Kit starts with two qualitative tubes specific for either Organic or Inorganic contaminants which allows the user to determine within 2 minutes whether the hazardous material is classified as Organic or Inorganic.   This quickly allows the first responder to almost immediately focus on a desired plan of action based on the spill type.

• The Nextteq® Deluxe HazMat Kit II quickly moves on to a series of 11 discrete chemical-specific detector tubes. This compared to competitive kits which contains 13 tubes with 8 chemical specific tubes and 5 additional tubes that only allows the end user to conclude the hazardous material is a certain class or mixture of gases and does not give chemical specific information on the nature of the material.

• When compared to competitive kits:
• The average sampling time of the Nextteq detector tubes is less.
• The average pump strokes for the standard range of the tubes are less.
• The shelf life for the Nextteq® tubes average out to have a longer shelf life.

• Nextteq® offers a No Expiration Date Program, so you can be assured of having detector tubes that will always be in spec and ready to use.

• For on-the-spot laboratory confirmation sampling, the Nextteq® Deluxe HazMat Kits include a VeriAir tedlar sampling bag which allows the first responder to quickly grab an air sample without the use of a pump to send off for immediate laboratory analysis.

• The Nextteq® Deluxe HazMat Kits are also expandable and can be custom made to add extra tubes and other optional accessories that will help with testing of site-specific chemicals that may be of concern at a particular facility.
