Nextteq's NXM Series of Multi Gas Detectors -
notably some of the most reliable detectors in the industry
Nextteq®'s NXM Series
4-gas monitors for worker protection
in hazardous environments
easy-to-use, dependable, and rugged
Nextteq’s new rugged and wearable NXM 4-gas portable monitor simultaneously detects up to four gases, including hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbon monoxide (CO), oxygen (O2) and combustibles (LEL).
Operation: Easy-to-use operation, easy-to-read LCD display, and fast response helps protect workers and overall operations from potential hazards. To alert the user of unsafe conditions, the NXM series has audible, visual, and vibrating alarms including default or user defined high/low alarm set points as well as STEL and TWA alarm set points for toxic gases.
Options: The NXM series includes your choice of LEL sensor of either catalytic bead (Pellistor) or NDIR type sensor. The NDIR version provides increased run time and an LEL sensor that is immune to poisoning and can be used in inert (low O2) environments.
Data storage: Obtaining data is key and the NXM detector comes with both Event and Data logging. Event logging includes 30 events, 30 calibrations, and 30 bump tests. Data logging includes 2 month’s worth of continuous data storage of 1-second intervals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Reliable Gas Detection
Have peace of mind that NXM detectors are recording last 30 events, calibrations, and bump tests and continuously data logging every second, 24/7 to provide the data you need.

Question to Dr. Duffy, PhD., CIH
What is the difference between
Calibration and Bump Testing?
The basic definition of a bump test is that it determines if the unit can detect and alarm in the presence of the target gas, while calibration assures that the unit is accurate. The bump test assures the unit is functioning while a calibration assures that the unit is accurately reading the target gas concentration.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) states that “it is essential to keep records of all device testing and maintenance.” If a user experiences a reportable event with a portable NXS detector for example, then OSHA may require to see a history of all bumps and calibrations during the year prior to the incident. Testing and maintenance data can track other valuable information as well and new technology (like the NX IR link and software, or the NX docking station and software) makes record-keeping easier and more valuable than ever.

DATA MANAGEMENT
Two options make it easy to comply with OSHA requirements when obtaining/storing your portable’s 30 events and/or establishing your portable settings:
1) NX-IR-Link
for communication with 1 NXM portable connection
Nextteq's NX-IR-Link is designed to communicate to the NXM portable using Nextteq's IR-Link interface software for calibrating, bump testing, and event management.
Nextteq's NXM Docking Station is designed to calibrate and bump test up to four NXM portables simultaneously, helping to reduce time. It provides bump testing, event management and calibration from a simple to use multi-unit station.
Both options maintain all important event logs that demonstrate users are working within company requirements and you can obtain the following key data:
Each alarm event (30 events) records the following event details:
Each event log also captures the following detector information:
